MedicoLegal Partners was founded a board-certified Orthopaedic Surgeon with firsthand experience navigating the challenges of running a busy medical practice while meeting the complex requirements of California’s Qualified Medical Evaluator (QME) system.

Our mission is to support physicians with all medicolegal services across all specialties — including Orthopaedic Surgery, Physiatry, Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Psychiatry, Surgery, and more—in delivering high-quality, compliant medicolegal evaluations. We recognize that most clinical practices lack the capacity to manage the administrative demands and timelines required to participate effectively in the medicolegal system.

At the same time, California has a growing need for qualified, board-certified medical experts to help resolve disputes between injured workers and employers through QMEs and Federal Department of Labor cases, as well as complex cases involving the Subsequent Injury Benefits Trust Fund (SIBTF) and multi-system injuries.  We help injured workers get back to work with Fit for Duty evaluations.
